Reading skills - synonyms, beginning, middle and end of a story
Grammar - reflexive pronouns
Writing - narrative story
Math - finish patterns, begin missing addends (2+___=5)
Science - water bucket experiment

We have Galileo testing on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Try your best not to be absent!
Pictures are Wednesday morning. Money is due Wednesday morning at the latest!
Mathapalooza (Math Curriculum Night) is Tuesday. We hope to see everyone there!
Character Counts Attire:
Monday - Go Green (responsibility)
Tuesday - Be Golden (respect)
Wednesday - Wear Orange (fairness) or a sports team shirt to show the importance of being fair when playing sports.
Thursday - Wear Red (Caring)
Friday - True Blue (Trustworthiness) or Simonton T-shirt day.

- Ms. McCarthy
- Hi! My name is Kathryn McCarthy. This is my 6th year teaching in the JO Combs School District, and 7th year overall. I graduated from ASU with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I know that we are going to have an exciting year and I am so excited about working with you and your children. I know that in working together and keeping the lines of communication open that we will be able to accomplish as much as is "humanly possible." If you wish you may drop by the room at any time.
