Curriculum for the week:
Reading Story - Mr. Putter and Tabby Fly the Plane (realistic fiction)
Spelling - star, dark, park, arm, farm, card, hard, yarn, march, fork, born, corn, horn, thorn, short.  Bonus - startle, market, actor, forest, forever
Vocabulary - cranes, twitch, worry, directions, promise
Reading skills - make predictions, ask and answer questions, narrative elements
Grammar - reflexive pronouns (ex: himself, myself)
Writing - journals
Math - patterns
Science - raisin experiment (we did gummy bears last week instead!)

A few reminders:

Book orders are due Friday.  Remember, if you order online, our class gets a coupon for a free book, and so does your child!  Take advantage of this great offer if you can.

We will have hearing and vision screenings Wednesday morning.  Don't be late!
