Reading story - Helping Out (nonfiction photo essay)
Spelling words - jack, back, path, rash, mash, neck, when, fish, dish, kick, ship, chin, this, luck, yuck
Bonus words - jacket, ticket, pocket, chicken, finish
Vocabulary words  - chores, simple, alongside, engine, tool, sprout
Reading skill - find the main idea
Grammar - Collective Nouns (flock of geese, school of fish)
Math - addition/subtraction without regrouping
Morning Math - number sense (problem solving)
Writing - journals (focus on conventions)
Science - raisin experiment

A few reminders:

We have a Character Counts assembly Wednesday at 9AM.  Don't be late.  We will also see Mrs. Whitlark and Mr. Grafing dressed as clowns the entire day for meeting our paper drive goal!  They will have a pie thrown in their faces by 2 special students at the end of the assembly.

We will be having a hand washing presentation on Wednesday as well.
